Kartini emergency school (12 images)

The Kartini emergency school was founded in the late nineteen eighties by the "Twin Teachers" Rosi and Rian Kartini. The school is situated in a slum area in the North of Jakarta. The students are children from the slums. Without the Kartini school they would most likely have no education and would spend their days begging or selling sigarets at the traffic lights in Jakarta.
