Behesht-e Zahra

An old Iranian woman in traditional Chador prayes near the grave of one of her sons. Both af her sons died in the Iran-Iraq war in the early eighties at Behesht-e Zahra..Behesht-e Zahra (Paradise of Zahra) is the name of the largest cemetery of Iran. It is located near the shrine of Ayatollah Khomeini in the southern part of metropolitan Tehran. Many of the martyred soldiers of the Iran-Iraq War are buried there.
